Plymouth Energy is seeking a Full-Time Production Operator for our ethanol facility in Merrill, Iowa, located just 30 minutes from Sioux City.
Plymouth Energy has been operating for over 18 years and continues to invest in its people, operations, and surrounding communities. We are a team-oriented facility where operators are expected to learn, grow, troubleshoot, and take ownership of their areas.
This is not a āstand in one spot all dayā position. Operators are involved in daily plant operations, process monitoring, equipment operation, troubleshooting, housekeeping, and continuous improvement throughout the facility.
Whether you already have ethanol experience or are mechanically inclined and willing to learn, we are looking for dependable individuals who want to build a long-term career in plant operations.
Schedule
ā¢Ā Ā Ā 12-hour rotating shift scheduleĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Alternating day and night rotationsĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Every-other-weekend schedule built into rotationĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Predictable full-time hours with overtime opportunitiesĀ
What Youāll Do
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Monitor and operate plant processes safely and efficientlyĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Learn and operate the plant control system (DCS)Ā
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Perform routine rounds, inspections, and troubleshootingĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Collect samples and perform basic lab testingĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Maintain accurate operational logs and production recordsĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Monitor process conditions, chemical usage, and inventoriesĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Support startup, shutdown, cleaning, and maintenance activitiesĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Operate industrial equipment including forklifts, loaders, man lifts, and scissor liftsĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Maintain housekeeping and ownership of assigned operating areasĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Work closely with other operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisors to keep the plant running safely and efficientlyĀ
