Position Title: Office Support Staff

Department: Administration / Testing Services

Reports To: Office Manager / Management

Employment Status: Full-Time or Part-Time, as assigned

Position Summary AB Lab & Diagnostics is seeking a dependable, professional, and organized Office Support Staff member to assist with daily office operations and provide client services, including fingerprinting and drug testing collections.This position serves as a point of contact for patients, employees, employers, and other clients and requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to follow established testing and documentation procedures.Candidates must be able to successfully pass all required background checks and meet applicable eligibility requirements necessary to perform fingerprinting and other assigned services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet and assist patients, clients, employees, employers, and visitors.Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to general inquiries.Check clients in and out and verify required documentation.Perform fingerprinting services after completing required training and authorization.Perform drug testing specimen collections according to company procedures and applicable collection requirements.Accurately complete required drug testing documentation and chain-of-custody forms.Verify identification and required documentation before providing services.Maintain proper confidentiality and security of testing and fingerprinting information.Follow established procedures for handling, documenting, securing, and processing specimens.Schedule and confirm appointments when applicable.Enter and update client information accurately.Scan, upload, file, and organize records and documentation.Collect payments and provide receipts when assigned.Assist with employer and client account inquiries.Answer emails and assist with routine office correspondence.Maintain adequate testing, fingerprinting, and office supplies.Maintain a clean, organized, and professional testing and reception environment.Follow HIPAA, privacy, confidentiality, and company requirements.••••••••••••••••••1Immediately report testing discrepancies, documentation errors, client concerns, or unusual situations to management.Complete required company training and maintain competency for assigned services.Assist management and other staff with daily office operations.Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required.Must be able to successfully pass required background checks and remain eligible to provide assigned fingerprinting services.Must be willing and able to complete required fingerprinting and drug testing collection training.Strong customer service and communication skills.Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic systems.Ability to accurately follow written procedures and instructions.Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Dependable attendance and punctuality. Professional appearance and conduct.

Preferred Qualifications Previous medical office, laboratory, occupational health, drug testing, fingerprinting, administrative,or customer service experience.Previous specimen collection experience.Experience completing chain-of-custody documentation.Familiarity with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.

Professional Expectations Office Support Staff must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, honesty, confidentiality, accuracy,and excellent customer service.Because this position involves identity verification, fingerprinting, drug testing, and handling confidential information, employees must strictly follow all company procedures and applicable requirements.Failure to maintain required qualifications, authorizations, training, or eligibility to perform assigned services may affect the employee's ability to remain assigned to those duties.
