Job DetailsJob Location: Main - Mesa, AZ 85206Position Type: Full TimeTechnologist (RVT) – Vein Center Tri-City Cardiology | East Mesa (Main & Power) If you are a credentialed vascular specialist who wants to work in a dedicated vein center Tri-City Cardiology is looking for you. Tri-City Cardiology has served East Valley patients for more than 45 years. We are a stable, physician-owned organization with high employee and patient satisfaction. This position is based in our Vein Center and is focused exclusively on venous ultrasound and ultrasound-guided venous procedures. General diagnostic sonographers without a current vascular credential will not be considered. Location: East Mesa – Main & Power Schedule: 4/10s, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Pay: $36.00 – $44.00 per hour (based on experience and credentials) Experienced RVTs with dedicated venous reflux mapping and ultrasound-guided ablation experience typically start toward the higher end of the range. TCC perks Immediate holiday pay Annual movie night (family invited) Service awards beginning at two years Recognition and reward program Medical benefits as low as $34.61 per pay period Benefits begin the first of the month following hire Position summary This role supports the Vein Center mission by independently performing high-quality venous ultrasound studies and assisting physicians during ultrasound-guided venous procedures in a controlled outpatient setting. Work is performed to IAC Vein Center standards and includes venous mapping, lower-extremity DVT studies, and post-procedure ultrasound as ordered. Essential functions Perform testing per IAC guidelines, primarily venous mapping, reflux studies, lower-extremity DVT exams, and ultrasound-guided venous ablation, within protocol timeframes Review physician orders and diagnoses in the EHR for accuracy and appropriate use Explain tests and procedures so the patient understands what to expect Confirm insurance/authorization requirements are complete and route studies to the appropriate personnel Maintain accurate testing logs Obtain accurate measurements of the relevant venous system per protocol Maintain 95% accuracy in data entry Maintain 95% accuracy in statement/impression selection Maintain supply inventory and clean equipment and rooms as needed Use appropriate sterile technique when assisting the physician with ultrasound-guided procedures Perform post-procedure ultrasounds as required Minimum qualifications High school diploma or GED Current vascular credential required (one of the following): Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through ARDMS Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through CCI Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography, RT(VS), through ARRT Minimum 1–2 years of dedicated venous reflux mapping and ultrasound-guided ablation assistance preferred Demonstrated experience in vascular / venous pathology Current BLS (or obtained within 90 days of hire) This position is not a fit for: general sonographers (RDMS abdomen, OB/GYN, or echo-only) who do not hold a current RVT, RVS, or RT(VS) credential and do not have dedicated venous mapping and procedure-guidance experience.
