Position Responsibilities:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Functions as an advanced practitioner within primary care
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provides consultation on nursing practice and assigned patient outcome.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 In collaboration with physician, orders and interprets diagnostic tests.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Reviews all admission data within the designated time frames; determines suitability of the level of care in accordance with hospital established criteria.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Procures services and serves as advocate on behalf of patients, families and the hospital for scarce resources throughout the continuum of care.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Facilitates and provides necessary patient and family education on admission as indicated.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participates in the inter-disciplinary treatment planning conferences. Provides guidance to team when doing patient care conference.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrates advance knowledge of the general diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and nursing care of patients on the unit.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Interviews patients and completes a full comprehensive medical history and physical examination within 24 hours of admission.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Documents all information relative to the patient's history, physical examination, assessment and treatment plan following unit policy and standards.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Initiates referrals & collaborates with medical staff and other health care professionals. Coordinates management of patient care.

Qualifications:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 State of Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 ACLS Certification; CPR certification required
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Master of Science in Nursing.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 At least 1 year of experience as an APRN
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience in primary care preferred
