WhatĀ YouĀ WillĀ DoĀ
Provide all vehicle glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop in the most efficient manner, focusing on safety,Ā qualityĀ and exceptional customer service. Clean customer vehicles after every job.Ā
Recalibrating automotive safety systems, includingĀ troubleshootingĀ and completing diagnostic testing.Ā
Proficiently operate Safeliteās tools and technologies,Ā includingĀ True SealĀ®, Ezi-Wireā¢, Glass Table System (GTS), chemicals (asĀ requiredĀ bv the āSafelite Way of Fittingā,Ā work order and customer administration systems, and Safelite's handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.Ā
SafelyĀ operateĀ company and customer vehicles throughout the workday.Ā
Communicate with all scheduled customers in-person, via text, and on the phone; present, promote and sell Safelite promotional items and services to customers.Ā
Senior and Master Technician levels will serve as a technical resource, support technician development, share best practices, andĀ assistĀ with coaching and mentoring activities.Ā

Technician: $25.25 - $28.00/hrĀ
Senior Technician: $28.00- $31.00/hrĀ
Master Technician: $30.50- $34.00/hrĀ

Education QualificationsĀ
High School Diploma GED/Equivalent PreferredĀ Ā
Valid state-issued driverāsĀ licenseĀ any other license(s) (as required by federal,Ā stateĀ and local laws) toĀ operateĀ a company vehicle. RequiredĀ Ā
Proven experience as an Auto Glass Technician (2+ years preferred)Ā
Experience QualificationsĀ
Applicants will be considered for Technician, Senior Technician, or Master Technician placement based on experience, technical capability, certifications, productivity, quality performance, leadership experience, and customer service excellence.Ā
Technician:Ā TypicallyĀ 1+ years of vehicle glass installation, repair, replacement, recalibration, or closely related automotive service experience.Ā
Senior Technician:Ā TypicallyĀ 3+ years of vehicle glass experience withĀ demonstratedĀ technicalĀ proficiency, quality performance, and independent operation.Ā
Master Technician:Ā TypicallyĀ 5+ years of vehicle glass experience with advanced technicalĀ expertiseĀ andĀ demonstratedĀ mentoring, coaching, or training capability.Ā

Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 poundsĀ
