The #1 Priority of this position is…  

To maintain and distribute a clean supply of bed linens, towels and wash cloths for our residents as well as maintain residents’ personal laundry which have to be maintained in a clean, non-wrinkled and spot free state. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

• Wash all laundry, separate items & distribute to residents’ rooms as outlined in policies & procedures.
• Keep laundry room and shelves clean and organized.
• Fold and put away towels, sheets, blankets, etc.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.

Qualifications 

• Experience in healthcare setting preferred
• A high school degree or equivalent preferred.
•  Must be able to communicate in English. Spanish preferred.

•   Responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.
• Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations.
•  Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task. 
•  Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
• Demonstrate good verbal communications, interpersonal skills & empathetic listening.
