Glassware Care: Steam and hand-polish wine glasses, water goblets, and bar glassware using lint-free polishing towels to guarantee crystal-clear presentation. Buffing & Sorting: Sort polished items by type, check for remaining water spots or chips, roll silverware into napkins (if required), and restock service stations for servers. Copper, Brass & Wood Maintenance: Periodically polish decorative brass fixtures, copper serving trays, or wood accent tables using food-safe polishing compounds during pre-service prep. Sanitation & Station Setup: Keep the polishing area clean, organized, and stocked with clean microfiber towels, hot water baths, or steaming equipment throughout the shift.   QualificationsWho We Are Looking For Previous restaurant experience (as a busser, dishwasher, or runner) is a plus, but entry-level candidates with high attention to detail are welcome. Fast, efficient hand movements with low breakage rates on delicate glass. Strong visual acuity to detect faint water spots, streaks, or cracks. Ability to work rhythmically under fast-paced, high-volume dining room rushes.
