Job DetailsJob Location: IN, Michigan City - Indiana State Prison - MICHIGAN CITY, IN 46360Position Type: Full-TimeEducation Level: High School Diploma/GEDJob Shift: DayJob Category: Dental Hygienist & Dental AssistantHourly Pay Rate $23 per hour!Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant for a full-time opportunity at Indiana State Prison located in Michigan City, Indiana.The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.Essential Duties:•    Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments•    Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory•    Operating radiographic equipment•    Administrative tasks as neededQualifications•    High school diploma or GED equivalent required •    Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required •    Certification in Dental Radiology required •    Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred •    Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening•    Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)•    Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkAvailable Shift: full-time days, 40 hours per weekCenturion is the provider of healthcare services for the Indiana DOC.
