Physician - Urology

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full time Board Eligible/Board Certified Urologist to join our well-established practice at Franciscan Health Michigan City located in Michigan City, Indiana. Provider will be joining a busy practice with talented, experienced physicians and an advanced practice provider who enjoy a supportive work environment with a great work-life balance.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Physician will work collaboratively with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Full-time position with flexible schedule

• Outstanding guaranteed salary and benefits

• Call Rotation: 1:4

• Average outpatient volume:  20 – 30 patients per day

• Average inpatient volume: varies

• Equipment includes:

  • Office - Digital Cystoscopy with blue light and ultrasound

  • Hospital - Moses 2.0 Technology

  • Hospital - Digital Ureteroscopy

• Practice support staff including an advanced practice provider

• Potential outreach opportunities in LaPorte, Chesterton & Valparaiso, IN

• Common Procedures/Surgeries:

  • Cystoscopy

  • Urodynamics

  • Da Vinci Robot

  • PVP, TURBT, bladder biopsy, stent placement

  • Ureteroscopy

  • Prostate biopsy

  • Robotic prostatectomy

  • Laparoscopic nephrectomy/partial nephrectomy

Qualifications:

• Doctorate - Required

• Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required – and -

• Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
