Location: Northwood University 4000 Whiting Drive, Midland 48640

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday; weekend availability required based on catering and banquet event schedules.

*Schedule includes seasonal scheduling - College semesters; August – December; January – May

Creative Dining Services at Northwood University is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Caterer to support campus events and create exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities include setting up, serving, and cleaning up catering events such as coffee breaks, receptions, banquets, and special meals. The ideal candidate provides outstanding customer service, interacts professionally with guests, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up food service areas, equipment, and utensils according to daily needs and guidelines.
• Prepare and assist with a variety of food items, including hot and cold dishes, salads, sandwiches, and simple baked goods.
• Maintain food safety standards, including monitoring temperatures and proper handling.
• Restock food, beverages, utensils, and service items as needed.
• Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and dining spaces.
• Assist with catering setup and service.
• Perform cashiering duties as assigned.
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and campus partners

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of Hospitality experience (Banquet Setting Preferred)
