Floor Technician

Job DetailsJob Location: Midland, TX 79701Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.00 HourlyThe Floor Technician at Bob Mills Furniture works closely with the Store Decorator to ensure the showroom delivers a visually appealing and inspiring experience for our customers. This role is responsible for prepping, assembling, and arranging new merchandise for display, as well as removing sold items in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is a team player who is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a deadline-driven environment.    RESPONSIBILITIES:  Pull product from the warehouse and prepare it for showroom floor placement.  Collaborate with the Decorator to arrange furniture and accessories in an attractive, stylish, and customer-friendly way.  Maintain lighting for showroom displays, including adjusting light angles and replacing bulbs as needed.  Ensure all floor merchandise is accurately tagged and priced.  Unbox, inspect, and assemble new products for display.  Remove sold merchandise from the showroom floor in a timely manner.  Support Decorator and Buyers in executing floor updates and resets on schedule.  QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:   Previous experience in showroom floor setup, retail visual merchandising, or furniture assembly preferred.  Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.  Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.  Excellent communication and teamwork skills.  High School Diploma or GED required.  Ability to lift, move, and assemble furniture safely and efficiently.
