ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Instruct students who are seeking to attain citizenship in the United States of America. • Develop appropriate curriculum. • Teach students in face-to-face setting. • Communicate effectively and appropriately with students • Develop and promote a safe learning environment for all students • Participate in student registration and orientation functions as necessary QualificationsRequired Qualifications: • An earned Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field. Exceptions may be approved by the Chief of Staff • Strong communication and organizational skills • General familiarity with computers and Word software Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in teaching adult or high school age students. • Experience with curriculum design, curriculum implementation, and assessment of student progress. • Experience in navigating the U.S. Citizenship and Services (USCIS) Website. • Experience in working with prospective students in assisting them with applying for Citizenship.
