Activities Aide

Assist Tiny Tots, Senior Program Instructors and Special Events Coordinators with MTA’s special events, programs and activities.  Must be available weekday mornings and all special event days.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

•    Set up, arrange and break down tables, chairs, decorations and equipment for all programs and special events

•    Assist Program Instructors with weekly program activities and off site excursions 

•    Facilitate Tiny Tots and Seniors Programs in the absence of the Program Instructors

•    Regular and reliable attendance required

•    Performs other related job duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge:

•    Must have a positive attitude toward working with children

•    Must have a responsible attitude for the health and safety of all program participants 

Education/Experience:

•    High school diploma or GED required

•    Previous experience working with children and/or seniors preferred

Certificates and Licenses: 

•    Valid driver’s license required

•    Must possess or attain within six (6) months of hire Red Cross Standard First Aid certification and Red Cross Community CPR
