We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembly Team Member to join our team.

In this vital role, you will be responsible for the final assembly operations of medical carts and enclosures to set quality and production standards.

Shift Available: Second Shift 2:30pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the mechanical final assembly and/or subassembly operations of medical carts, enclosure and other simple and moderate builds using various manual and power tool.
  • Reviewing assembly checklists for accuracy, properly quarantining defective parts as needed. 
  • Preforming final inspections and validations of finished products. 
  • Identify tool calibration and document and request deviations 
  • Depending on the products being assembled/built, employee may work on an assembly line within a team and/or work independently assembling the product.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings and understand standard and metric dimensions on drawings.
  • Identify quality issues from previous stations.
  • Demonstrate proper packaging requirements and operation of auto bander 
  • Touch up a C-Surface finish.
  • Responsible for verifying parts and other operators work to quality standards.
  • Follow all safety efforts in the work center with the consistent demonstration of proper PPE and adherence to all safety regulations and requirements.
  • Maintain a consistent 5S workplace through consistent housekeeping efforts.
  • Train other employees as directed by Team Leader to ensure parts are produced safely, efficiently, and the appropriate quality level.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience and Training:

  • 6+ Months Previous assembly experience required
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Use of hand and powers tools required
  • Quality checks are required

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Regularly required to use hands tools and power tools
  • Must be able to read and follow directions
  • Specific abilities include close vision, reading, lifting up to 50 pounds.
