We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team.

In this vital role, you will work to ensure seamless, safe, and uninterrupted production throughout the facility.

Shift Available: First Shift- 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance based on machinery operating and maintenance manuals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all facility maintenance needs 
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of systems including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
  • Ensure machinery is operating normally and all manufacturer installed safety devices are intact and functioning properly.
  • Respond to requests from department managers, supervisors and operators of machine breakdowns, operating irregularities and all other issues.
  • Work on special projects as they come up, based on priority set by Operations, while coordinating with the pm schedule.
  • Work and coordinate with outside contractors as required.
  • Relocate equipment, service drops, lighting, and other energy sources as required.
  • Keep track of maintenance, laser, punch consumables and add to maintenance order requisition list.
  • Keep shop yard in neat and orderly condition.
  • Perform snowplowing, salting and office walkway clearing in winter months, and grass mowing and landscaping in the summer months.
  • Perform infrastructure maintenance based on scheduled pm intervals.
  • Inform department supervisors of abnormal conditions during machine inspections and will coordinate with maintenance supervisor for the order of parts and time required to complete repair.
  • Other building and grounds maintenance tasks as required.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience and Training:

  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance role
  • Valid Driver’s license and ability to pass insurance company requirements for driving plow trucks
  • Experience with hand tools and mechanically inclined
  • Read and comprehend service manuals
  • Preferred knowledge in checking and diagnosing low voltage control and power supply circuits
  • Preventative and reactive maintenance on Press Brakes, Laser/Turrets, and/or paint line preferred

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Regularly required to use hands tools and power tools
  • Must be able to read and follow directions, troubleshoot, and work independently
  • Specific abilities include close vision, reading, lifting up to 50 pounds.
