Job Description:
The Patch Plan Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving enterprise patch management activities across technology teams. This role ensures operating systems, applications, and infrastructure components are patched in a timely, risk-based manner to reduce security exposure while maintaining system stability and business continuity through coordination with teams responsible for performing the work.


This role serves as the central point of coordination between infrastructure, application owners, cybersecurity, OT/SCADA stakeholders, change management, and business teams. Responsibilities include coordinating and tracking patch schedules and maintenance calendars, testing and deployment activities, remediation progress, patch-related risks and exceptions, and reporting compliance metrics to leadership.


Key Responsibilities

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead large, complex strategic projects or programs, assuming accountability for delivering results

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage project/program team, including other project managers, company and external resources Develop project plans, budgets, scope, timelines, outcomes, and deliverables using company聽PMO tools and templates

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Identify, manage, and resolve inter-project/program dependencies, working with other PMs and company聽stakeholders

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct analyses to estimate and track project costs and budgets

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Create and maintain project/program operating model, including working with key stakeholders and steering committees

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Define resource requirements and negotiate availability with resource managers

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage vendor relationships to align vendor schedules, costs, and deliverables with the overall project plan

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Establish, maintain, and update project risk log

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Resolve project issues and escalate as appropriate

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage project change control and follow existing policies

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure project-related documentation is accurate and complete



Requirements

Required Skills

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Master's degree in business, technology or related field preferred

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 7+ years of progressive project management leadership experience

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Thorough knowledge of project and program management theories, models, and techniques

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated success applying project management concepts and techniques across large, mission-critical projects/programs

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated analytical skills, including problem solving and critical thinking, with attention to detail

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to facilitate meetings and manage difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to gain and maintain credibility at all levels of the organization

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Understanding of business process improvement and change management desired

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 PMI or equivalent certification preferred
