Director of Production

ViridianStaffing's (www.viridianstaffing.com) Client is looking for an operationalleader to join an cannabis company as a Director of Production in the greaterPortland, Oregon, area.

In this role, youwill have the opportunity to lead the day-to-day operations of aregulated, cannabis manufacturing and fulfillment facility. You will oversee all production(including extraction and kitchen), packaging, and fulfillment operations.  As an experienced leader, you inspire theoperations team to be compliant with all regulations and SOPs relating tosafety, security, and health.  Your priorteam members would consider you to be a collaborative servant leader with a‘can-do' attitude and a 'roll up your sleeves' work ethic, who is dedicated tosetting the organization up for success. You will oversee scheduling, safety,administration, supply chain, quality, production, maintenance, techstack/systems, and the logistics of the facility.  With your proven leadership skills, you'llstrive for continuous process improvement, better performance and customerrelationships.

Your backgroundshould be a Bachelor's degree or higher and at least 3+ years of experiencemanaging a production manufacturing operation with at least 2+ of these yearshaving direct people management responsibilities. Cannabis experience ispreferred for this position but if you have this in addition to working in afood grade production environment, this is preferred.  You have strong communication and analyticalskills, along with experience enforcing GMP and OSHA requirements, enabling youto explain (and you enjoy explaining) complex scientific information tonon-scientific individuals.   You alsohave experience with developing a production schedule, inventory management,supply chain, Google Suite, Excel, ERP Systems,, customer service, among otherbusiness functions, and are technology savvy.

Compensation:$90-$120K
