Dietary Aide/Cardex

The Position

Minden Medical Center is hiring a full-time cardex team member for day shift to support safe, accurate, and welcoming food service for patients, visitors, and staff. This role exists to keep cafeteria and cardex operations running smoothly while helping ensure patients receive meals aligned with ordered diets.

Key responsibilities include operating the cash register, completing daily deposits, restocking supplies, supporting correct patient diet service, and maintaining clean, sanitary work and dining areas.

A Typical Shift

As a cardex teammate on day shift, you’ll start by getting your station ready for service, checking that supplies and key items are in place, and syncing up with the team on priorities for the day. You’ll spend the shift moving between guest interactions and behind-the-scenes tasks, staying steady during busy meal periods. You’ll wrap up by confirming end-of-shift totals, preparing what’s needed for the next service window, and leaving your areas orderly and ready for the next crew.
