What you will doÂ
Support the company’s maintenance program by ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery, mechanical equipment and building.  This includes installing equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns in a manner that meets and complies with all food safety policies and OSHA regulations.Â
What you need (Education/Experience)
- 2-year degree in electronics/maintenance mechanics or 5+ years in maintenance mechanic roleÂ
- Experience with repair or preventive maintenance in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, or electronicsÂ
- PLC experienceÂ
- Advanced knowledge of CMMSÂ
- Working knowledge of lockout/tagout programsÂ
- Working knowledge of boiler operationsÂ
- Experience with ammonia, freon, or other cooling mediaÂ
- Advanced stick and tig welding skills; ability to weld to sanitary standardsÂ
- Intermediate computer skills including experience with Microsoft OfficeÂ
- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts to identify solutionsÂ
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsÂ
- Strong communication skillsÂ
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team to complete assigned tasksÂ
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentÂ
Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment (e.g., mechanical drive systems, HVAC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems)Â
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems with plant equipment (e.g., wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, electrical installations, transformers, motors, and AC/DC motor drives)Â
- Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment • Perform building maintenance and repairs (e.g., air conditioning, lights, forklifts)Â
- Perform repairs on equipment to prevent long-term downtime until permanent repairs can be completedÂ
- Fabricate replacement parts or equipment as neededÂ
- Electronically troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment by means of installed PLCÂ
- Electronically troubleshoot 24 Volt control circuitsÂ
- Report food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnelÂ
- Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and proceduresÂ
- Perform other job-related duties as assignedÂ

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your hourly wages, Rise Baking Company offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, quarterly bonus eligibility, incentive and recognition programs and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
