Job DetailsJob Location: Miramar, FL 33025Salary Range: $28.00 - $33.00 HourlyJob Shift: AnyJob Summary: This position repairs, maintains and performs preventative maintenance on packaging line equipment. Provides support to the packaging line production operation to avoid and minimize downtime and ensure the proper operation of equipment for continuous runs. Creates and/or edits documentation needed for packaging line equipment. Assist in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes and tooling including Prototype development, or tooling and fixture fabrication, etc.   Job Responsabilities: Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment related to the Packaging of Product. Repairs/Maintains packaging machines to avoid and minimize downtime. Assists production mechanics during the setup of the packaging machine if necessary.  Install, test and assist in the qualification of new equipment for the Packaging production operation and for AR&D test batches. Assists engineers in daily engineering support. Investigate and determine root cause for downtime and other events that result in investigations. Follow up on all CAPAS for investigations as SME. Be on-call for production packaging machine issues that may occur following company policies and procedures. Responsible to write shift update to Supervisor and distribute to required staff. Organize and dispatch engineering tasks to Engineering Technicians 1 and or Electrical Technicians. Operates in accordance with our Code of Conduct and Business Ethics, and all established regulatory, compliance and safety requirements Performs all work in support of our Values: Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion All other relevant duties as assigned. Qualifications Education High School diploma or equivalent required. A 2-year Associates Degree in a Math, Science, Technical or Engineering discipline preferred. 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.     Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Pharmaceutical Manufacturing SOPs and other regulatory requirements. Capable of troubleshooting automated manufacturing and packaging equipment at all levels (electrical, electronics, mechanical, hydraulical and pneumatic systems) including vision inspection systems. Basic sensor and PLC troubleshooting skills Ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and Ladder Logic Diagrams/Schematics. Business English usage, spelling, grammar and pinctuation Basic mathematical skills Ability to perform and complete Preventative maintain and forms Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals Ability to effectively present information and respond question trom groups of managers, customers, and general publics. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations whwere only limited standardization exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instruction furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Ability to make decision and take action on  machinery issues in a timely manner Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written English   Experience Hands-on experience with TDS and/or ODF packaging machines; setup, operation and troubleshooting. 3+ years repairs with basic maintenance of industrial equipment, packaging machine preferred. Problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of packaging serialization Track and Trace systems a plus. Knowledge of Cognex Vision Systems (LOT/EXP inspections) a plus.
