Delivery Driver

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering a wide variety of furniture, appliances, and other merchandise to customers.

Deliveries may include washers, dryers, refrigerators, couches, desks, chairs, bedroom furniture, and other large or heavy items. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, comfortable with physical work, and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload merchandise
  

• Deliver furniture, appliances, and other items to residential and/or commercial customers
  

• Handle large and heavy merchandise carefully to prevent damage
  

• Verify delivery items before leaving the warehouse and upon arrival
  

• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
  

• Assist with moving items into the appropriate location for customers
  

• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries
  

• Obtain required signatures or delivery confirmations
  

• Maintain communication with the office regarding deliveries, delays, or customer concerns
  

• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized
  

• Complete routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
  

• Follow all company procedures and safe-driving practices
  

• Assist with warehouse duties, loading, or unloading as needed
  

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  

• Reliable and dependable attendance
  

• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and move heavy items
  

• Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
  

• Ability to work independently and as part of a delivery team
  

• Strong customer service and communication skills
  

• Ability to follow directions, delivery schedules, and routes
  

• Professional appearance and attitude
  

• Previous delivery, moving, warehouse, furniture, or appliance experience is preferred but not required
  

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing. Candidates must be comfortable handling large and heavy merchandise such as appliances, couches, desks, and furniture.
