Job Title: Machine Operator 1 Reports To: Team Lead/Production Supervisor Shift: 1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm

Scope of Work: Produce welded pipe, cut blanks, and produce small components utilizing laser welders & front-end machines

Major Responsibilities:

Operate machinery according to established guidelines and safety protocols

Operate FlexiStar, 400, 1000, Gary Line, Mecon, Flat Laser, Plasma, Novatec & Re-shear, small rotary

Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to team lead and supervisors

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery 

Complete schedule for day and note any down time or other issues preventing you from completing schedule.

Check material for any defects. Let supervisor and quality department know when defects are found

Know how to accurately read and use a tape measure to 1/32”.

Fill out work order paperwork 

Maintain a clean workstation and production floor.

Be punctual and maintain good attendance.
