Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable FEM Functional Analyst to join our team, supporting the Air Force's maintenance and asset management operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and mission-critical operations, ensuring that system capabilities align seamlessly with operational needs. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in business analysis, system configuration, and stakeholder collaboration to optimize the use of IBM Maximo and related technologies.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes, operational requirements, and user needs supporting FEM.
• Elicit, document, validate, and manage functional and business requirements.
• Develop user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and related documentation.
• Evaluate existing business processes and recommend system enhancements, configuration changes, and process improvements.
• Provide functional analysis and recommendations to maximize utilization of IBM Maximo capabilities.
• Support configuration, testing, implementation, and deployment activities.
• Assist in analyzing and resolving application, integration, and operational issues.
• Support user acceptance testing, requirements validation, and release activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and Program Increment (PI) planning activities.
• Collaborate with developers, database engineers, cloud engineers, and cybersecurity personnel to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Provide Tier II functional support and analysis for system issues and user requests.
• Develop and maintain functional documentation, business process documentation, and training materials.
• Support continuous process improvement and operational effectiveness initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of business analysis, functional analysis, systems analysis, or related experience supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience eliciting, documenting, analyzing, and validating business and functional requirements.
• Experience developing user stories, use cases, process flows, functional specifications, and related requirements artifacts.
• Experience supporting enterprise asset management, maintenance management, or similar business systems.
• Experience supporting or utilizing IBM Maximo within an enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting software development or system enhancement efforts within Agile environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience facilitating discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Local to Montgomery, AL.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience supporting FEM.
• Experience supporting Air Force maintenance, logistics, sustainment, asset management, or readiness systems.
• Experience supporting IBM Maximo implementations, upgrades, enhancements, or modernization initiatives.
• Experience supporting Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE), Precision Measurement
• Equipment Laboratory (PMEL), Ground Support Equipment (GSE), tool management, or related maintenance operations.
• Experience supporting DoD or Air Force programs.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Jira Service Management, or similar lifecycle management tools.
• Experience supporting testing, user acceptance testing, or quality assurance activities.
• IBM Maximo certification.
• SAFe Agile experience or certification.

Clearance Requirements: 

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
