Information Systems Security Officer (MMIS)

 

About the Role

 

Conduent is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to be responsible for protecting the organization’s information systems, ensuring compliance with security policies, and managing risks to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical data.

This position is contingent upon the award of a government contract. Recruiting and interviewing activities may occur prior to contract award; however, employment and start dates are subject to contract award, funding, customer approval requirements, and/or satisfaction of any applicable pre-employment conditions.

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for all information in the client’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) management platform
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with the Medicaid Enterprise Security policy
  • Work with the client’s ISO and GRC to ensure compliance with the Medicaid Enterprise Security Policy
  • Responsible for planning and directing System Security for the solution
  • Serve as the leader in compliance with the Medicaid Enterprise Security policy
  • Serve as leader in all State and Federal Security requirements and compliance (e.g., audits and security testing)
  • Ensure integration and alignment with Data Governance office, Privacy office, and Security office tools
  • Implement and maintain of the policies and procedures in support of the Medicaid Enterprise Security Policy
  • Perform daily program operations and program development
  • Monitor program compliance
  • Risk mitigation, development, and activities related to the Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) to close vulnerabilities

 

Requirements 

 

  • Five (5) years of professional experience in information security compliance
  • Two (2) years of direct experience in HIPAA compliance
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with NIST, Federal Information Security policies/requirements, HIPAA, and other related State and Federal information privacy laws, security laws, and breach notification laws
  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree in information technology, health information management; or equivalent work experience
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security or CISM (Certified information Security Manager)
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with MARS-e or ARC-AMPE

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $119,350 - $155,000
