Join us at Carl Buddig and Company, where tradition meets innovation, and where our passion for quality meat products is matched by our commitment to our people and communities.   Position Summary: As a General Labor/Packaging for Carl Buddig & Company you will be responsible for producing product by preparing and packaging cooked product for shipment with a safety –minded attitude that maintains and enhances a safety culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees. Key Responsibilities: Load bulk meat logs (up to 30 pounds) into meat slicer at required production frequency levels. Perform random re-weight checks of sliced meat product. Review and inspect product. Place pre-determined amount of sliced meat products into packaging. Reject meat product that does not meet specifications. Place required number of packages into box. Inspect individual packages for proper quality specifications at a rate of 21 – 40 units per minute. Ensure that boxes are filled per required levels. Place completed boxes on pallet ensuring proper pallet configuration. Place empty pallet into position for proper stocking. Always maintain areas in a clean and sanitary manner. Inspect equipment for sanitary conditions. Inspect product for quality and any signs of foreign material contamination. Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned and needed.
