LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking an experienced, results-driven Regional Manager to manage operations within the Montgomery, AL region.

This leadership position is responsible for overseeing regional operations, developing and supporting regional management teams, and driving operational excellence to achieve blood collection goals. This role ensures consistent performance, accountability, and alignment with LifeSouth’s mission and values within it's region. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Provide leadership and oversight of daily operations within the Montgomery region, ensuring blood collection goals and operational objectives are achieved.
• Lead, coach, and develop management teams, establishing clear expectations and accountability for performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local hospital and community partners to ensure blood product availability and exceptional service.
• Ensure regional operations maintain compliance with organizational policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, strengthen team performance, and support continued growth.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of supervisory or management experience required. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Previous experience in blood banking or a related healthcare environment preferred.
• Proven leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop teams and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to meet and maintain LifeSouth’s driver eligibility requirements.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
• Ability to fulfill the position’s on-call responsibilities.

Starting Salary: $66,000 - $72,600 annually.

LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.
