Responsibilities
•   Model “Customer 1st” behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
•   Provide customer service
•   Prepare for store opening
•   Prepare bakery product for morning sales
•   Prepare frozen product for afternoon and next day sales
•   Bake bread product for afternoon and next day sales
•   Bake croissants, cookies, pies, and cinnamon rolls
•   Perform housekeeping duties in department
•   Maintain production records
•   Tag product
•   Perform backup functions for counter person
•   Make public announcements regarding specials, ads, new items, and fresh bakes
•   Stock/restock shelves, displays, and other merchandising areas
•   Answer telephones
•   Comply with corporate policies
•   Understand and take orders for cakes
•   Promote and follow Company initiatives
•   Comply to all safety guidelines and standards
•   Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications
Minimum
•   High school diploma or general education degree; or combination of relevant education and experience.
•   Minimum 18 years of age
•   Ability to pass drug test
•   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•   Ability to work weekends on an occasional basis and overtime as needed
•   Accuracy/attention to detail
•   Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects
•   Familiarity with bakery terms and processes
•   Ability to work within set time frames/fixed deadlines
•   Fred Meyer lift truck certification/license
•   Any licenses or certificates required by federal and/or state
