About the Role

Are you looking for a dynamic role that combines welcoming patient care with crucial clinical support? We are seeking a compassionate, organized professional to join our team as a Patient Access Representative / Sterilization Technician.

In this dual-function position, you will serve as the friendly face of our clinic—greeting patients, handling registration, and managing scheduling—while also playing a vital role behind the scenes by ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant processing and sterilization of our dental instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Patient Access:

  • Greet patients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.

  • Handle patient registration, verify insurance eligibility, and assist with sliding fee scale applications.

  • Manage multi-provider appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, and co-pay collections.

  • Maintain strict HIPAA confidentiality and accurate electronic health records (EHR).

Sterilization & Clinical Support:

  • Receive, clean, package, and sterilize dental instruments using autoclaves and strict safety protocols.

  • Perform routine equipment monitoring, biological testing (spore testing), and maintain meticulous logs.

  • Assist with operatory turnover, dental unit waterline maintenance, and proper biohazardous waste disposal.

  • Monitor sterilization supplies and inventory levels.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with a diverse patient population.
