Job Details: Job Location: Jackpot Junction - Morton, MN, Position Type: Full-Time, Education Level: None, Salary Range: $17.25 - $36.12Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Varies (+Weekends), Job Category: Food / Beverage, ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Maintain high levels of cleanliness, sanitation and organization in kitchen and related areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for food preparation and service. Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils and other kitchen equipment. Stock and restock supplies such as food, utensils and cleaning products. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Keep track of inventory and supplies. Remove trash and recycling from the kitchen and dispose of it properly. Assist with basic food preparation and plating. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is in good working condition. Report any maintenance or safety issues to management. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications: EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience working as a kitchen steward or similar position preferred.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES Strong communication and teamwork skills. Strong time management skills. Knowledge of proper sanitation and food safety procedures. Knowledge of inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Organized and efficient. Detail-oriented.UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures. Regular attendance and punctuality. Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required. Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourage others to do the same.PHYSICAL DEMANDS Mobility throughout the facility. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Ability to twist, bend and squat frequently. Ability to tolerate head and congestion in the kitchen. Ability to stand and walk for entire shift. Strong manual dexterity, coordination and awareness.
