Work independently Professional Development & Continuing Education Travel Reimbursement for eligible employees Your Responsibilities: Performs transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams while following established protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging and exceptional patient experience. Obtain a thorough patient history and present key findings to the interpreting physician. Assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes. Conduct work in a sterile environment based on established protocols and client processes. Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely, ensuring routine maintenance is up-to-date and immediately reporting any malfunctions or concerns. Participate in quality assessment and process improvement initiatives to ensure continuous quality improvement of care. Travel to assigned client locations in a safe manner. Maintain standards of ethical professionalism at all times. Other duties as assigned. You adapt easily to a variety of clinical settings and patient needs. You stay up-to-date with clinical advancements in echocardiography and have a desire for continuing education. You take pride in your work and providing each patient with quality care and comfort. Minimum Qualifications: RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI); RVT/RVS a plus Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound program 1 year of Cardiac and/or Vascular Ultrasound experience Demonstrated proficiency in strain imaging, 3D echocardiography, Definity contrast, and IV placement Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment. Valid Driver’s License Working Conditions: Work is performed at outpatient testing centers, hospitals, clinics, and/or physician office settings with moderate to high patient volume. Sonographers must travel in all weather conditions. Physical Demands: Ability to stand for periods of time. Walking, stooping, turning, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Our Perks!
