Position: Summer Internship

Role Summary:
The main purpose of the summer internship program is to get hands on experience working in all facets of a bank, while having the ability to interact and shadow with various types of bankers. This position will have the opportunity to contribute towards projects and assignments that will expose you to learning more about the industry. This position will also have the chance to attend multiple networking functions that take place throughout the summer. Intern’s will receive training/exposure to major areas of the Bank, typically including lending, operations, administration, business development, and more.

Specific Job Functions (Duties/Responsibilities):Â
- Intern will attend skill and knowledge workshops inside and outside the bank, as well as be expected to complete e-courses.
- Intern will receive training in Bank policy, procedures and regulations regarding Bank products and services, branch operations, leadership training and lending.
- Based on intern’s skills and career aspirations along with Bank needs, the intern will function in various assigned positions for a period of time to develop role awareness and mastery.
- Intern may be asked to perform other tasks as assigned on a day to day basis

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:Â
- Ability to communicate using verbal and written skills.
- Ability to prepare business presentations.
- Ability to shift quickly from one task to another.
- Ability to use business related computer programs. ( Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Prior Internship and/or relevant financial experience preferred

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a business related field with a minimum of six hours of accounting or finance courses preferred, or equivalent experience.
