Do you take pride in creating clean, beautiful, and welcoming spaces? Are you dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented? We are looking for a motivated and reliable Housekeeper to join our hospitality team at Grange Valley Lakeside Inn & Cottages!
Our hotel and wedding venue is dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for our overnight guests, wedding couples, families, and special event visitors. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of creating a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment for every guest. This is a Part Time position with the opportunity for Full Time hours based on performance and demand.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms for arrivals and daily housekeeping service.
- Change bed linens, make beds, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, sinks, and other surfaces.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the property.
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, public restrooms, common areas and office spaces.
- Assist with preparing bridal suites, wedding accommodations, and special guest rooms, when needed.
- Help clean and prepare wedding and event spaces before events.
- Ensure all assigned areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Report maintenance concerns, damages, and lost-and-found items.
- Follow established housekeeping standards and safety procedures.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure the property is always guest-ready.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Must have reliable transportation with a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Must be physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift as needed.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as business needs require.
