Reports To: Aquatics Director Essential Responsibilities Assist with the oversight of the pool within CCB, including but not limited to risk management, patron oversight, customer service, emergency response, proper documentation, facility/area upkeep and assistance as requested by the Aquatics Director or other professional staff. Specific Responsibilities: Work two shifts every other weekend Work a minimum of 2 shifts per week Perform all necessary lifeguarding skills, as certified by American Red Cross Must attend TWO in-services a month as required by the American Red Cross Respond to all medical and non-medical emergencies in the pool area Responsible for offering an outstanding customer experience Ensure that all risk management measures have been taken Monitor the safety of swimmers and sun bathers Setup/tear down for events Complete assigned cleaning duties of pool - vacuuming, scrubbing, skimming the pool, etc Completion of all documentation as described in Employee Manuals Display teamwork amongst coworkers via shift coverage and reciprocation, etc Other duties as assigned Work Environment and Physical Demands: Professional Competencies Basic computer competency Ability to handle customer service issues. Ability to manage and monitor pool.
