POSITION OVERVIEW - Part time position

Responsible for processing invoices, billing, payables and other store administration. Provide general customer service and identify customer needs in-person, over-the-phone, or online communication. Professionally and effectively communicate customer needs to both store peers and management. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Light bookkeeping, data entry, end of days, enter tickets, mail, etc.
• Process invoices, billing, payables, and other store administration
• Provides customers with knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt service at all times, while being sensitive to their needs 
• Be a personable, welcoming representative of Commercial Tire with in-store, over the phone, and email/text communication
• Maintain a clean work area and personal appearance that meets company standards
• Assist with the following:
  • Inventory maintenance; receiving, warehousing, delivery
  • Notify customer on special order follow-up
  • Provide price estimates over the phone and schedule appointments
  • Pick-up and deliver customer vehicles and products
  • Customer courtesy driving 
  • Clean-up office and waiting area, coffee making, popcorn and related
• Support Commercial Tire safety, operational and audit standards, policies and procedures
• A team player committed to continuous improvement
• Other duties as assigned

• Supports operational compliance scores for company audits (Operational and Safety)
• Oversees the accuracy of all administrative functions and ensures timely completion
• Greets customers in a friendly and professional manner 
• Seeks to assist customers and serves as a referral bridge when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Must be 18 years 
• Valid Driver’s License and Insurable Driving Record
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FUNCTIONS

Physical Demands:

• Standing: 80% | Walking: 15% | Sitting: 5%
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and walking on uneven surfaces
• Frequent lifting/carrying: up to 50 lbs
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping and dexterity
• Constant visual, auditory, and verbal communication required 

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to noise, dirt, dust, mechanical vibration, fumes, and outdoor conditions

• Occasional work in extreme heat/cold or wet/humid environments
• Occasional hazards due to mechanical equipment, moving objects 

Equipment Operated:

• Company-provided software and system for work orders and inventory
• Tire machines, compressors, air tools and hand tools
• Required to use protective gear (PPE)
