Homemaker and Companion - Mount Kisco, Northern Westchester, NY

UniversaCare is hiring a homemaker and companion to care for clients in northern Westchester. You’ll work out of our UniversaCare of Northern Westchester office at 295 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Mount Kisco, NY 10549.

Pay: $19.65 to $25 per hour. The starting rate is New York’s home health aide minimum wage and rises each year with it.

Schedule: Part-time and full-time.

What you’ll do

• Provide companionship, conversation and activities
• Prepare meals, do light housekeeping and laundry
• Run errands and go with clients to appointments
• Help clients keep a safe, steady daily routine

What you need

• A caring attitude and reliability; caregiving experience is a plus
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role
