JOB ELEMENTS & POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to the operations team
- Execute time studies to find wastes in our manufacturing processes.
- Participate in Aptar’s continuous improvement process by using problem solving techniques
- Perform root cause analysis to aid in solving problems in our operations
- Lead projects to improve manufacturing efficiencies throughout the plant
- Support the operations manager in day-to-day tasks to maximize uptime, quality and safety.
- Develop new cell layouts to aid operators and eliminate waste.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a mechanical/industrial engineering or other relevant manufacturing degree
- Quick learner and able to operate in a fast-paced work environment
- Self-motivated and confident, with the ability to take initiative
- Ability to work effectively on teams and independently
- Experience with or willingness to learn AutoCAD & Advanced Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to manage many work streams simultaneously
- Strong experience with computers (especially MS Word, Excel, Project & Power Point )
- Strong communication skills
