Role Overview
TheAssociate - Growth (GRW) is a highly client-facing, target-driven positionfocused exclusively on generating new business – identifying prospects,building a pipeline, demonstrating products & services, and closing deals.This role is applicable across the company – with the specific product set,target client segment, and geographic territory defined by the Reporting Headat the time of joining.
You willoperate across the full B2B sales cycle – from first contact to signedagreement – working closely with your Reporting Head and the relevant teams toensure a smooth transition of newly acquired clients into the deliveryecosystem.
Roles & Responsibilities
1.     LeadGeneration & Prospecting
o  Followup on assigned leads in a timely, structured manner and arrange meetings withprospective B2B clients across the assigned territory / zone.
o  Generateleads independently through field experience, market research, networking,referrals, and observation of industry trends and events.
o  Researchthe business profile, organizational structure, regulatory environment, andtechnology adoption priorities of prospective client institutions – and usethese insights to build relevant, targeted project strategies.
o  Attendindustry conferences, seminars, and networking events to identify new prospectsand represent APT's products and brand.
o  Maintainan organized and up-to-date pipeline of prospects in the CRM system at alltimes.

2. Product / Services’ Knowledge & ClientDemonstrations
o  Developthorough, in-depth functional knowledge of all assigned APT products – this isa non-negotiable baseline for effective client engagement.
o  Conductstructured, confident product demonstrations and presentations for prospectiveclients – tailoring the narrative to the specific needs, challenges, andpriorities of each institution.
o  Mapproduct features and capabilities to real client problems – positioning APT'ssolutions as the most relevant and commercially sound choice for the prospect.
o  Preparesupporting documentation – including proposal notes, product summaries, andpitch decks – to support client understanding and deal progression.

3. Deal Progression & Revenue Generation
o  Prepareand submit accurate, timely commercial proposals and quotations to prospectiveclients.
o  Undertakestructured, persistent follow-up to keep deals moving through the sales cycle –addressing objections, resolving queries, and maintaining momentum towardsclosure.
o  Handlecommercial negotiations within approved parameters – with the confidence tohold ground while remaining solution-oriented and client-friendly.
o  Finalizeand close business deals – ensuring all documentation is complete and handedover accurately to the concerned teams.
o  Consistentlywork towards and surpass assigned quarterly and annual business targets – treating the target as the floor,not the ceiling.
o  Identify,develop, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic alliances relevantto the SBU's product portfolio.

4. Market Intelligence & InternalCollaboration
o  Trackcompetitor activity, market developments, and regulatory changes – and sharestructured insights with the teams at defined intervals.
o  Provideactionable field intelligence to the concerned team(s) to support productpositioning, campaign planning, and content creation.
o  Collaborateactively with the Customer Success, Product Delivery, and Marketing teams toensure seamless client handover after deal closure and a strong initial clientexperience.
o  Maintainaccurate and current records of all client interactions, deal stages,quotations, and pipeline activity in the CRM system.
o  Provideregular, structured pipeline updates to the Reporting Head on lead status, dealprogress, target tracking, and market observations.
Requirements
Qualification/ Skill-sets
- Graduates/ Professional Degree-holders / Post-Graduates desirous of a career in BusinessDevelopment or B2B Sales of IT Software Solutions / Services.
- 0– 2 years of overall experience. Freshers with the right communication skills,attitude, and client orientation are actively encouraged to apply.
- Pleasingpersonality with excellent oral and written communication skills – anon-negotiable prerequisite for this client-facing role.
- Soundpresentation creation and delivery skills – including the ability to speakconfidently to senior institutional audiences.
- Charactertraits of patience, resilience, and commitment – essential for navigating longB2B sales cycles without losing momentum or positivity.
- Willingnessand enthusiasm to extensively travel across assigned territory (within thecity and PAN India, by any means of transport) – and a genuine passion fordaily, direct client interaction.
- Keendesire for collaboration and coordination with internal cross-functional teams.
- Basicproficiency in MS Office — particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
AddedAdvantage Qualification / Skill-sets
- Priorexperience of 1 – 2 years in Business Development, Field Sales, or B2B Sales ofIT Software Solutions / Services – with a demonstrable track record of revenuegeneration.
- Priorexposure to the BFSI sector – including banks, NBFCs, cooperative institutions,mutual fund houses, insurance companies, or financial training institutions.
- Basicunderstanding of some facets of Banking / Financial Services – includingregulatory frameworks, compliance dynamics, or technology adoption trends inthe sector.
- Experienceof engaging with mid-profile or senior institutional clients and stakeholders.
- Workingknowledge of CRM software for pipeline management, client record-keeping, andactivity tracking.
