Operations Lead (Jewellery Manufacturing)

We areseeking a highly experienced Operations Lead (Jewellery Manufacturing) tooversee and streamline end-to-end jewellery manufacturing operations acrossplanning, production, inventory management, quality control, dispatch, andprocess optimization. The ideal candidate should possess strong industryknowledge, leadership capabilities, and proven expertise in managinglarge-scale jewellery manufacturing operations while ensuring quality,productivity, and operational efficiency.

KeyResponsibilities

• Lead and manage complete jewellery manufacturing operations,ensuring seamless execution across all production stages.
  
• Oversee production planning, capacity utilization, workflowmanagement, and timely delivery of orders.
  
• Manage inventory control of gold, diamonds, gemstones,components, work-in-progress, and finished goods with regular reconciliationand audit compliance.
  
• Supervise all manufacturing departments including CAD, CAM,Casting, Filing, Assembly, Setting, Polishing, Quality Control, and Dispatch.
  
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, production timelines,and operational SOPs.
  
• Coordinate closely with merchandising, sourcing, design,planning, QC, inventory, and sales teams for smooth operational alignment.
  
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhanceproductivity, reduce wastage, and optimize manufacturing costs.
  
• Monitor operational KPIs including production efficiency,rejection rates, inventory accuracy, and turnaround timelines.
  
• Lead and mentor manufacturing teams, driving accountability,performance, and continuous development.
  
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safetyprotocols, and manufacturing best practices.
  
• Prepare MIS reports, production dashboards, operationalanalysis, and management reviews.
  
• Support business expansion initiatives through strategicoperational planning and manufacturing excellence.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing,Business Administration, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 13+ years of experience in jewellery manufacturingoperations within jewellery manufacturing and export organizations.
  
• Strong expertise in production planning, inventorymanagement, process optimization, quality control, and overall manufacturingoperations.
  
• Proven experience in managing large-scale jewellerymanufacturing units and leading cross-functional teams.
  
• Strong understanding of jewellery production processesincluding CAD/CAM, Casting, Setting, Polishing, Quality Control, and Dispatch.
  
• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving,communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
