Weare looking for an Institutional Research Analyst with strong fundamentalresearch capabilities and a keen understanding of mid cap & large capcompanies and key sectors. The role will focus on generating high conviction,actionable investment ideas for institutional clients, developingdifferentiated insights through company and industry research, and engagingdirectly with senior investment professionals at Domestic Mutual Funds.
Youwill work closely with CIOs, Fund Managers, Research Analysts, InstitutionalSales and Dealing teams, making this a highly client facing role where yourresearch views can directly influence investment conversations.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Conductin-depth fundamental research across mid- and large-cap companies, with astrong understanding of sector dynamics, industry trends, and broader marketdevelopments.
- Identifyand develop actionable, high-conviction stock ideas for institutionalinvestors.
- Builddetailed investment theses covering business fundamentals, earnings outlook,valuation, catalysts and key risks.
- Trackcompany developments, industry trends, competitive dynamics and regulatorychanges to identify emerging opportunities.
- Participatein management meetings, analyst interactions, earnings calls and industrydiscussions.
- Engagedirectly with CIOs, Fund Managers and Research Analysts at Domestic MutualFunds to discuss stock ideas, portfolio views and investment themes.
- Understandclient portfolios and investment preferences and provide relevant, customizedresearch insights.
- Publishtimely quarterly result updates, company updates, earnings reviews, sectornotes and thematic research.
- Workclosely with Institutional Sales and Dealing teams to understand clientrequirements and deliver relevant research support. Collaborate with Sales tostrengthen institutional client engagement through quality research anddifferentiated investment ideas.
- Ensureresearch is accurate, well-supported, timely and compliant with applicableregulatory and internal guidelines.
WhatWe're Looking For:
- 4ā8years of experience in Equity Research, Institutional Research or InstitutionalBroking.
- Strongexperience in fundamental research and mid-cap/ large-cap coverage.
- Provenability to identify actionable and differentiated investment ideas.
- Abilityto develop and articulate a clear investment thesis to sophisticatedinstitutional investors.
- Experienceinteracting with CIOs, Fund Managers and Research Analysts, preferably acrossDomestic Mutual Funds.
- Strongability to engage with company management and extract meaningful businessinsights.
- Excellentcommunication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently defendresearch views.
- Abilityto work effectively with Sales, Dealing and other internal teams.ā
