Role Overview

The Senior Implementation Analyst (SIA) plays apivotal role in the end-to-end delivery of software products across clientengagements. The SIA owns the structured implementation of assigned projects —from initiation and planning through to UAT, Go Live, and formal closure.

Working in close coordination with the ProjectManager and cross-functional teams, the SIA brings deep functional expertise,disciplined execution, and strong client engagement to every implementation.The SIA serves as the primary functional point of contact for the client duringthe implementation lifecycle — ensuring that the product is configured,trained, and adopted in a manner that delivers measurable value to the client'sbusiness.


Roles & Responsibilities

1.      Project Planning& Execution

o   Develop and own theImplementation Plan for each assigned engagement / project— covering scope,timelines, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and deliverableschedules.

o   Translate signedcontracts, Purchase Orders (POs), and client briefs into structuredimplementation charters, clearly defining scope of work, acceptance criteria,and success metrics.

o   Maintain accurate andup-to-date project records on the project management system (Zoho Projects orequivalent) at all times — including implementation plans, milestone trackers,action items, defect trackers, risks, and project documentation.

o   Proactively identifyimplementation risks and escalate them in a timely manner — maintaining a riskregister and applying structured mitigation approaches in line with bestpractices.

o   Ensure that everyproject is tracked not just against timelines and scope, but against theclient's actual business objectives — consistently measuring whether theimplementation is delivering the value committed at the point of sale.

 

2.      Functional Delivery& Product Expertise

o   Gain deep functionalmastery of all assigned products and serve as the go-to functional expert forclients, internal teams, and project stakeholders throughout the implementationlifecycle.

o   Collaborate withclients and concerned stakeholder(s) to understand their goals, workflows, andimplementation vision — and translate these into a structured, feasibledelivery plan.

o   Conduct functionaltraining sessions for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Go Live — ensuring thatend users are fully equipped to adopt the product effectively.

o   Provide best practiceusage advisory to clients, recommending optimal configurations and usageapproaches based on client context and product capabilities.

o   Prepare project-specifictraining documentation, user guides, and functional reference materialstailored to the client's environment and user base.

o   Interface with internalteams to resolve functional gaps, technical dependencies, or product-relatedchallenges that arise during implementation.

 

3.      Client Relationship& Stakeholder Management

o   Serve as the primaryfunctional point of contact for the client during the implementation — buildingtrust, managing expectations, and maintaining a high standard of client communicationthroughout.

o   Conduct regularstructured check-ins and progress reviews with client stakeholders —proactively communicating status, risks, decisions required, and next steps.

o   Manage clientconcerns, escalations, and change requests in a composed and solutions-orientedmanner — coordinating internally to resolve issues without compromisingdelivery timelines.

o   Liaise with the concernedteam to ensure a smooth post-implementation handover and sustained clientsatisfaction after Go Live.

o   Represent the companyprofessionally in client interactions at all levels — reinforcing the organization’scommitment to delivery excellence and client delight.

 

4.      Cross-FunctionalCollaboration

o   Work closely with theassigned Project Manager to align on project priorities, share status updates,flag dependencies, and escalate risks within agreed protocols.

o   Coordinate withinternal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery of services to theclient.

o   Serve as liaisonbetween technical and non-technical teams, both within the organization and atclient and vendor / subcontractor organizations, to ensure all project targetsand requirements are met.

o   Contributestructured, data-backed feedback on client observations, recurringimplementation challenges, and product gaps to the Project Manager and SBUleadership.

 

5.      Process, Governance& Administration

o   Adhere to allimplementation processes, documentation standards, and governance protocols asdefined by the function — including Ideal Implementation Plans (IIPs),Implementation Risks & Pre-Requisites Documentation (IRPD), and RiskAssessment & Risk Treatment Registers (RART).

o   Ensure complete,accurate, and timely updation of all project management system entries forevery assigned implementation — providing real-time visibility to the ProjectManager and leadership.

o   Participate activelyin implementation retrospectives — sharing learnings, contributing to processimprovement discussions, and adopting refined methodologies in subsequentengagements.

o   Ensure compliancewith all central company policies, including Travel Policy, InformationSecurity (INFOSEC) Policy, and any other applicable guidelines.



Requirements

Qualification / Skill-sets

  • B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. /B.Tech. / MCA / MBA or equivalent Technical Graduate / Post-Graduate with asound understanding of software solutions and their implementation.
  • 3 – 5 years ofexperience in a Software Implementation, or Project Delivery role within asoftware product or technology environment.
  • Demonstrated abilityto independently manage end-to-end software implementation projects — frominitiation and planning through to UAT, Go Live, and closure.
  • Strong command ofproject management concepts and methodologies — with working knowledge of bothAgile (Scrum / Kanban) and Waterfall approaches.
  • Proficiency inproject management tools (Zoho Projects, Jira, MS Project, or equivalent) —with the ability to maintain structured implementation records and generatemeaningful reports.
  • Excellent oral andwritten communication skills — with the ability to engage confidently withclient stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
  • Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills — ability to identify root causes, structure solutions,and make sound recommendations under pressure and in complex multi-stakeholderenvironments.
  • Sound interpersonalskills — with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams, manageclient relationships, and navigate conflict professionally.
  • Willingness andenthusiasm to travel (within the city aswell as PAN India) for client meetings, implementations, training sessions,and Go Live support.

 

Added Advantage Qualification / Skill-sets

  • Prior experience in aBFSI-domain software company, with working knowledge of banking regulations,compliance frameworks, or financial technology products.
  • Basic to workingknowledge of SQL or Oracle databases — ability to independently validate dataand query implementation-relevant information without technical support.
  • Exposure to ISO, CMM,or Six Sigma quality frameworks — with experience applying structured qualitypractices in a software delivery context.
  • PMP Certification(preferred): Candidates who hold a valid PMP certification from PMI arepreferred. Candidates without the certification are expected to demonstrate aclear inclination and intent to pursue PMP as part of their professionaldevelopment.
  • Experience inmanaging vendor or subcontractor deliverables as part of a structuredimplementation.
  • Familiarity withproduct development lifecycle concepts — from product requirements and designthrough to testing, release, and implementation.
