Job Details: Job Location: Lewis Brothers Bakeries Incorporated of Tennessee - Murfreesboro, TN, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: 2 Year Degree, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: Up to 50% , Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Sales, Position SummaryWe are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our business in Tennessee, specifically the Shelbyville, Manchester, Lewisburg, Kimball and Dunlap marketing areas. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, strengthening key customer relationships, and developing a high-performing team in a fast-paced, big-box retail environment. Candidates must currently reside in or near the Shelbyville, Manchester, Lewisburg, Kimball, and Dunlap area. Relocation assistance is not available. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team to achieve and exceed sales volume and performance targets Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in a big-box retail environment Recruit, train, and develop merchandisers to meet customer expectations and business objectives Monitor market trends and competitor activity; provide insights and recommendations to leadership Execute company sales strategies to drive growth and customer satisfaction Ensure team adherence to safety, compliance, and professional standards Provide regular performance feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesQualifications: Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of sales and leadership experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) or direct store delivery (DSD) environments Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with technology and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and programs Ability to analyze market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly Bachelor’s degree preferred Additional Requirements Must be able to work within the Shelbyville, Manchester, Lewisburg, Kimball, and Dunlap Tennessee market (no relocation assistance available) Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening, where permitted by law About Lewis BakeriesLewis Bakeries is a family owned and operated company that was started by three brothers in 1925 in Anna, Illinois.
