What awaits you:
鈥dhere to IATF16949 work instructions
鈥dhere to ISO14001 work instructions and training
鈥ead and follow all job-related work instructions
鈥bserve & follow all safety procedures and guidelines when performing work to avoid injury to self and other employees
鈥epair/rebuild electric motors (except rewinding stators and armatures)
鈥rouble shoot/repair induction furnaces, mold unit, hydraulic systems
鈥epair of Electric Overhead cranes and Hoists (Electrical and Mechanical, except welding)
鈥epair of Low voltage and voltage controls up to 480 volts
鈥bility to read electrical schematics and diagrams
鈥ust be able to make conduit runs and layout electrical cabinets
What you鈥檒l need to succeed:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High School Diploma or GED required
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Master Electrician Certification or associate鈥檚 degree in electrical or electronics or Industrial Electricity Certificate or Equivalent required
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of industrial experience in trade or Master Electrician License聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with low voltage & voltage controls up to 480 volts
Understand PLC controls
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of Electronic Instrumentation (E.G. Temperature Controllers, Chart Recorders, I/P and P/I Converters, Variable Frequency Drives, Etc.)聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstration of competency with various electrical testing procedures to include Megging Motor, Testing Sensors, Wire 3 phase motor, PLC- knowledge of input and out, and building a circuit to print聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with Allen Bradley Rockwell Software (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, and RS Linx), PLC-5 and SLC500 hardware
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must have basic computer skills for work order entry and completion
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be able to obtain a forklift, articulating boom lift and scissor lift licenses from company licensing program
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide own tools (personal hand tools)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead projects and define appropriate work scope for improvements/repairs聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Train/Mentor other electricians and apprentices聽
