Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer - NPI(New Product Introduction) to lead the end-to-end product industrializationprocess from prototype development through mass production. The ideal candidatewill possess strong expertise in electronics manufacturing, processdevelopment, manufacturing readiness, and cross-functional project execution.This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless transfer of products fromengineering development to manufacturing while meeting quality, cost, anddelivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities
NPI Project Management
- Own the end-to-end NPI process from project kick-off through series production.
- Develop and manage NPI build plans, schedules, milestones, and production readiness reviews.
- Coordinate prototype, pilot, engineering validation, and pre-production builds.
- Drive successful transition of products from development to manufacturing.
Manufacturing Readiness
- Ensure readiness of materials, tooling, fixtures, test equipment, manufacturing programs, and documentation prior to builds.
- Collaborate with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to achieve product launch targets.
- Validate manufacturing processes and build methodologies for volume production.
Process Development & Improvement
- Establish and optimize manufacturing processes including:
- SMT Assembly
- PCBA Manufacturing
- Mechanical Assembly
- Product Testing
- Packaging Processes
- Identify opportunities for yield improvement, cost reduction, and cycle-time optimization.
- Lead root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Quality & Compliance
- Develop and maintain:
- Process Flow Diagrams
- PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Control Plans
- Work Instructions
- Manufacturing SOPs
- Support APQP, PPAP, FAI, and product qualification activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary interface between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Suppliers during product launch.
- Drive issue resolution during prototype and pilot builds.
- Conduct build reviews and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of electronic product manufacturing and industrialization.
- Hands-on experience with Prototype, Pilot, Pre-production, and Mass Production builds.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), Consumer Electronics, Industrial Electronics, IoT Devices, or Automotive Electronics.
- Exposure to ERP/MRP systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Certification in APQP, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or PMP is an added advantage.
