The Purpose of the Job

The QualityControl Officer - SIM is the guardian of connectivity. This role is responsiblefor meticulously monitoring and verifying product quality throughout the SIMcard manufacturing and personalization process. 
You will ensure that every SIMmodule, chip, and finished card complies rigidly with customer requirements, internalquality benchmarks, and applicable regulatory obligations before deployment. 
Byguaranteeing flawless functionality, you directly enable millions ofsubscribers to stay connected to their networks without interruption.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

·       Conductcomprehensive quality inspections at all designated production stages, from rawmaterial intake and chip embedding to final personalization and packaging.

·    Performrigorous visual inspections for physical flaws (scratches, chipping,misalignment) and functional verification using specialized readers to confirmelectrical integrity and data encoding.

·      Accuratelyidentify, document, and report quality defects and non-conformities,categorizing them for effective tracking and root-cause analysis.

·      Ensure strictcompliance with all approved quality procedures, work instructions, andindustry standards (such as GSM Association specifications) at every productionstep.

·       Maintainmeticulous, accurate, and complete quality inspection records and logs,ensuring full traceability and readiness for internal and external regulatoryaudits.

·       Proactivelyinvestigate quality issues, collaborating with production engineers torecommend and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

·       Activelysupport formal root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives todrive down defect rates and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.

·       Verify thatall finished SIM cards conform precisely to customer-specific artwork, encodingrequirements, and packaging specifications.

·    Activelyparticipate in internal quality audits and periodic quality reviews, providinginspection data and process insights to strengthen the Quality ManagementSystem (QMS).

·       Continuouslymonitor process consistency and product conformity, flagging any deviationsfrom standard operating parameters to maintain stability.

·       Escalatecritical or recurring quality issues promptly to the Quality AssuranceSupervisor and relevant teams to prevent the release of non-conformingproducts.

·       Championquality awareness across all production operations, fostering a culture of "right first time" and empowering operators to take ownership ofquality.

·       Inspection Tools: Familiarity with basicmeasuring tools (e.g. callipers, micrometres), magnifying equipment, ESD-safehandling practices, and SIM/reader testing devices is a significant addedadvantage.
