Yard Operations Associate

Role Overview

The Yard Operations Associate is responsible for keeping the yard organized and operational on a daily basis. The role involves arranging the yard, cleaning refurbished and training bikes, supporting stock checks, assisting with the loading and offloading of motorbikes, and coordinating with Site Associates on dispatches to ensure smooth, safe, and well-documented yard operations.

Responsibilities

1. Yard Arrangement: Arrange and maintain the yard on a daily basis to ensure motorbikes are organized, accessible, and easy to locate.
   
2. Bike Cleaning & Readiness: Clean refurbished and training bikes to ensure they are presentable and ready for use or deployment.
   
3. Stock Checks: Assist with stock checks of motorbikes and other items on site as required, maintaining accurate records of bikes, gear, and equipment.
   
4. Loading and Offloading: Assist with the safe loading and offloading of motorbikes and goods arriving at or leaving the yard.
   
5. Dispatch Coordination: Coordinate with Site Associates to support smooth motorbike dispatches, ensuring the correct bikes are ready and in place.
   
6. Reporting: Flag any outstanding dispatch or yard-related issues to the Site Manager at the end of each shift and provide regular updates on yard conditions.
   

Requirements

Skills & Abilities

1. Prior experience in a yard, warehouse, or motorbike-handling environment is preferred.
   
2. Physically capable of handling, cleaning, loading, and offloading motorbikes.
   
3. Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a site team.
   
4. Comfortable following instructions from the Site Manager and coordinating closely with Site Associates.
   
5. Basic understanding of safety and compliance standards in industrial or yard environments.
