    • Hours vary depending on dept needs

    • 2 holidays/yr

    • ~6 call shift (6 wk schedule)

 

What you will do:

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations.  Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.  Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.  The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

  • Education:

    • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)

  • License/Certification:

    • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure

    • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position

    • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
