  • Ensure equipment, work areas, and the facility grounds are clean, safe, organized, and properly maintained.
  • Identify and promptly address hazardous conditions, safety concerns, and equipment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Life Safety, fire safety, infection control, sanitation, isolation, and other applicable healthcare regulations and procedures.
  • Follow proper procedures for hazardous materials and electrical work, including Lockout/Tagout requirements.
  • Support facility compliance with applicable state and local building codes.
  • Promote and protect residents' rights while maintaining positive and professional relationships with residents, families, visitors, staff, and regulatory agencies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, in-service education, training, Quality Improvement initiatives, and facility activities.
  • Assist with staff orientation and training as needed.
  • Serve as a hands-on working supervisor and assist with maintenance tasks as workload and department needs require.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Life Safety Code requirements applicable to the healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with applicable state and local building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
