The Role
This is a hands-on security position working within the Information Security group and with the internal IT department at large.Ā We are looking for candidates whoĀ have aĀ passionĀ forĀ cyber security,Ā identityĀ managementĀ andĀ threatĀ response. YouĀ will provide domainĀ expertiseĀ to design and develop the capabilities of the identity and access management platform and the automation of application deployment pipelines to the platform.Ā As a key leader in our security organization, the Cybersecurity Architect will drive the development of secure design principles, reference architectures, and security standards across a modern, SaaS-enabledĀ and cloud-first ecosystem. This includes securing complex identity flows, third-party integrations, APIs, and distributed systems while addressing the shared responsibility modelĀ inherentĀ across SaaS andĀ internallyĀ developed line of businessĀ platforms.Ā In this role, you will be an essential partner and technical specialist for identity and access platform development and provide thought leadership onĀ enterpriseĀ security and architectureĀ acrossĀ identity access and governance.Ā YouĀ will be a key part of ourĀ efforts toĀ enableĀ theĀ businessĀ needsĀ inĀ aĀ highly collaborative organization. The environment is fast-paced and commonly on the leading edge of technology, including early adoption of various cloud servicesĀ along withĀ the challenges of integrating those services into our security practice.Ā

ResponsibilitiesĀ
Maintain architectural diagrams and workflows of the identity access management platformĀ
Provide design, evaluation, analysis, of identity and access management programs to support the companyās strategyĀ
Develop standardsĀ and guidelinesĀ for access management across the company and departmentĀ
UnderstandĀ user lifecycleĀ management;Ā including provisioning/de-provisioning, access requests, userĀ entitlementsĀ and audit & validationsĀ
Collaborate with HRIS, IT service owners, serviceĀ deskĀ and end-usersĀ toĀ gather feedbackĀ andĀ design solutions withĀ identity related workflowsĀ
PresentĀ onĀ design & vision that meets user and business needsĀ
Design overall structure for newĀ and existing cloud andĀ on-premiseĀ applications into the identity access management platformĀ
CreateĀ identity governance workflows with the concepts of attestation and auditing.Ā
Ensure systems are scalable,Ā maintainableĀ and meet business needsĀ
Create documentation to support architectural decisions and workflowsĀ
ReviewĀ identity workflows and processes for lifecycle management, auditing, reporting,Ā governanceĀ and self-serviceĀ
Design aĀ RESTful identity API toĀ provide Identity as a Service toĀ downstream servicesĀ and directory ownersĀ
Play an active role in CAAās security incident response efforts, working toĀ identifyĀ and mitigate information security threatsĀ

Required CapabilitiesĀ
AĀ minimum ofĀ 7Ā years in Information Technology, ideally with a focus onĀ information securityĀ
AĀ minimum ofĀ 3Ā yearsā experience inĀ identity and access managementĀ Architecture or EngineeringĀ
AĀ Bachelorās or MasterāsĀ Degree in a relevant field of workĀ
ExperienceĀ architectingĀ IAM projects from design through implementationĀ
Strong communicationĀ and presentation skills with ability to explain complex conceptsĀ to both technical and non-technical audiencesĀ
Have designed and supported the implementation of Zero TrustĀ Identity architectureĀ
UnderstandingĀ of OAuth, SAMLĀ andĀ OpenIDĀ frameworksĀ
An understanding of the fundamental operations of servers, operating systems, networks, firewalls, cloud applications, and infrastructureĀ
Knowledge in automation and integration with SaaS applicationsĀ
Knowledge ofĀ lifecycle management and provisioning andĀ de-provisioningĀ
Knowledge ofĀ differentĀ MFA and compensating controlsĀ for identityĀ
Knowledge ofĀ privilegeĀ identity management,Ā privilegedĀ access management,Ā and concepts ofĀ just in timeĀ provisioning, just enough access, and principal of least privilegeĀ
Knowledge of scripting in at least one of the following languages:Ā PowerShell, Python, JavaScriptĀ

Location
This role is based in our Nashville office.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $179,000 - $208,000 in Nashville. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
