Position Summary

Responsible for answering telephones in an upbeat, friendly manner, accommodating the guest's order request, and processing the guest's food bills according to established guidelines and instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Answer the telephone and take the order/request in a timely manner
• Dispense the order/request to the appropriate staff using the proper procedure
• Compute bill and operate cash register
• Make change, cash checks, and issue receipts
• Handle credit transactions
• Ensure accuracy of collection and disbursement of money
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic food and wine products
• Ability to perform basic/intermediate math skills
• Ability to operate office equipment (i.e., fax, copier, and telephone)and POS System
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests, staff, and management
• Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
• Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment

Education:

• High School education or equivalent
