How you'll make an impact in this role

• Coordinate patient care from referral through procedure and follow-up.
• Coordinate complex clinic, testing, and procedure schedules.
• Work with the echocardiography team to ensure specialized imaging and TEE measurements are completed and available.
• Assist with urgent scheduling changes and time-sensitive procedural needs.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

• 5+ years cardiovascular surgery experience
• Chest/Lung/Vascular experience
• Cardiac surgical scheduling experience
• Post-operative wound care experince
• Cardiovascular surgery pre-operative evalulation experience
• Experience with patient coordination between different departments for post-op patients
